Staying Stylish in the Winter

When wintertime comes around, I often find myself reaching for my favorite pair of sweatpants and everyday hoodie whenever I need to go somewhere. Now I’m not saying that sweats aren’t stylish—they’re super comfy and come in an assortment of colors to brighten up a dull and cloudy winter day—but they are a lazy outfit staple, and it does get tiring wearing the same thing over and over again. If you’re looking for a way to stay fashionable yet warm and cozy during the chilly season, here are a few ideas for your winter wardrobe:

1) Wool Blazers and Pants

Wool is bound to keep you warm in the winter months, but it doesn’t always have to be worn in the form of a chunky sweater. Try adding a stylish hot pink or cobalt blue wool blazer to your outfit to keep you warm. To create an even more cohesive look, wool pants would definitely be a good option.

2) Bright and Colorful Cashmere Sweaters

Cashmere is probably the softest material that you could find which is also great at keeping you warm! Whether you prefer light sweaters that are plain, colorful or have a creative design, you can definitely find something of your choice in cashmere. Try matching that cashmere sweater with your favorite pair of jeans or a warm maxi skirt.

3) Denim

Denim is one of those fabrics that can be worn nearly any time of year, and most importantly, it never goes out of style! For a bit of that holiday sparkle, try on some embellished jeans with rhinestones. Whether you prefer wearing denim on denim or mixing it up by adding that fashionable wool or cashmere sweater to your jeans, you can never go wrong with denim!

4) Sweater Dress

Dresses are often reserved for special occasions only, but why not wear an everyday dress that is both stylish and cozy to work or college? Sweater dresses give that perfect holiday season vibe and add just the right amount of elegance to your look. Just find the right color, design, and length for an amazing outfit!

I hope no one will find themselves wearing the same sweats after reading this article! And with that, let’s welcome winter!
